In my younger years, I used to play paintball professionally. It was an absolute blast and a real adrenaline rush. I used to travel around the U.S. playing 5, 7 and 10 man format paintball tournaments.

I had started with NAAPSA. I started a 5 man team and we did very well and eventually grew to have multiple teams and we started doing 10 man format tournaments. Eventually, we won the 10 man world championship along with a 7′ tall trophy. Then we migrated over to NPPL and played professionally.

One of our first big tournament was the Knoxville Indoor Championship where we placed 2nd against the All Americans. At that time, we were an unheard of team so it was a really exciting experience for us.

As we became more well known, we would change our name and our outfits along with our starting line-up so that we could play in smaller tournaments. We were just young and having the time of our lives.

Fast forward to today and I have two kids and was wanting to share something of my past with them. I purchased a couple of Gel Blasters and took my kids out in our yard to play. They both lit up like a Christmas tree and have asked to play every single day. We have even convinced my wife to play on occasion. They have asked if their friends can come over and play.

Since they enjoyed it so much, I decided to add it as an offering at our venue. That is what brings us to here. I figured our family can’t be the only family that would enjoy playing. GellyBall is great exercise and sport for just about anyone. It is fairly pain free (unlike paintball), a whole lot more affordable than paintball ever was, a whole lot less messy and just as fun!

GellyBall is excellent to just have fun and blow off steam in additional to being a great team building and communication exercise. There are numerous variations of the games that can be played. We look forward to hosting your GellyBall experience right here at Splash Mountain Hawaii.
